I try to keep track of my golf scores; however I have never really logged every shot to see where my mistakes are and where I need improvement. Until now, using the Journal 18 Performance Journal.
I have not had the best winter golf in terms of scores, and I never really knew why. I practice a lot, play a lot, and use a bunch of training aids. So, I decided it was time to really see where my issues were. Was it my driving, my long game, my short game, my putting, what area(s) needed improvement to get back on track.
Using the Journal 18 Performance Journal seems to be the answer. The Journal 18 Performance Journal offers a lot of information to record, so you can review after your rounds to see what happened on every hole. It tracks your FIR, GIR, any out of bounds shots, putts, and score for each hole. I should have mentioned the beginning of the journal you post your average distance for each club in your bag. There is also a place for pre-round notes on each round and a place for a post-round review.
The Journal 18 Performance Journal is a excellent performance tracker. You can review each round you play and see exactly what areas you make mistakes on and how often. It allows you to make notes during and after the round. It has helped me really understand what areas I must focus on to improve, instead of goinf to the range and justs winging clubs, I am now practicing the mid-iron game as that was the biggest part of my game that needed improvement. Thanks to the Journal 18 Performance Journal I practice with a much better purpose, and I have seen my scores improving.
The website for the Journal 18 Performance Journal is www.journal18.com and the cost is $49.00
