An Amazing Adjustable Lie Angle Putter in Seconds.

cure putters rx series

I have had numerous putters I’ve used and reviewed over the many years of being a golfer, however, what I recently tried is unlike any other putter, period. I remember a brand name putter where could adjust the length with a screw at the top which I thought was very cool, however being able to adjust the lie angle and be able to change weight, is a game changer.

The company is Cure Putters and I can assure you they offer the most unique adjustable putters. It’s hard to imagine being able to get the exact putting combination of lie angle and weight that matches your stroke on a practice putting green inside a store which is never like putting on real grass. Luckily, Cure Putters offers putters that you can adjust yourself, on real grass on a real golf course and there are a ton of options in terms of adjustability.

I’m not a tech person, just a golfer who loves to golf and try new gear as often as possible. So, when I saw Cure Putters, I knew I had to try them for sure. I started with a Cure RX3, which has very high MOI, basically helps when you don’t hit the exact center of the putter, the higher the better. The RX3 is 5.25” long which is a bit longer than most conventional putters, and is the smallest in the Cure Putters RX line.

The RX3 is lie adjustable over a range of 16°, 8° flat to 8° upright; and weight adjustable over a range in excess of 200 grams. You really have to see it to understand that you can adjust the shaft by just turning a few screws and you have an entirely different putter, and then being able to add weight to get the exact feel you like, it’s a process, but a process I loved doing. All the adjustments are very easy to do, and all the tools and weights come with the putter in their basic kit. You can also purchase their Extended RX Weight Kit for more weights and even more adjustments.

Cure Putters offers a larger RX5, which is the highest MOI in their line and the highest MOI in golf. The RX5 is 6” long and starts out about 29 grams heavier than the RX3. When you first look at the RX5 it is a large head and has all the adjustability like the RX3 just in a larger, heavier version.

I took the RX3 and the RX5 to my home course putting green and asked a golf buddy to help me out. We started with the RX3 by adjusting lie angles and using various weight combinations. We did this for about an hour and a half, and I really enjoyed testing so many possibilities. I would putt about 15-20 golf balls to a few different hole locations and then change the weight, lie angle, or both.

I did the same with the RX5, numerous changes of weights, lie angles and putting to various hole locations, some uphill, some downhill, so straight. After spending about 3 hours and having to buy my buddy lunch I had a winner. Putting is all about feel, so what works for one person most likely will not be the same for another person. However, I can assure you the Cure Putters RX line of putters has an option that will suit your needs.

My preference was for the RX3, as it was smaller and lighter than the RX5. I also liked my lie angle to be 8degrees flat, as it just felt the best and I putted the best with that lie angle. After numerous weight combinations, I ended up at 356 grams. My golf buddy who helped me actually preferred the RX5, he said the larger size felt like he had more control over each putt.

Bottom line, the Cure Putters RX line of putters are amazing. The RX line all have very high MOI which benefits everyone, plus being able to adjust the lie angle (which is unlike any other putter I’ve ever seen before), and offering numerous weight combinations, it’s a putter that you can fit to your stroke, your style and the exact feel you prefer. They are truly unlike any other putters, and I encourage everyone to check out the company website to learn more about these unique and highly adjustable putters!

The company website for their RX line is, https://cureputters.com/collections/rx-series and the price with the Basic weight kit is $299.95.
