I bought a 3-pack of World of Golf Pocket Brushes as a way to keep something really small in my pocket after hitting wedges shots. I’d hoped that these pocket brushes would be better than having to run back to the golf cart each time to clean my clubs. As we all know, sometimes when we’re not playing at our best, we can often find ourselves in a fast paced “rush mode”, so I thought that this brush could possibly help slow things down for me on the walk to the green. .
I found the World of Golf brush to be very small. I’d hoped that the brush’s bristles would be very firm so it would give the wedge’s grooves a good cleaning. The pocket brush bristles have a plastic feel to them, and at first glance, I thought this tiny pocket brush wasn’t going to work.
I tested the World of Golf tiny brush on 2 days of golf. The golf course had thick tough, fluffy sand, and plays fast and firm. I wish I had taken before and after pictures, but I’m sure the other people in my group wouldn’t have been pleased, so I apologize for that.. I will say that the World of Golf pocket brush did work very well. Not 100% clean like a metal bristle brush, but it definitely cleaned my wedge and irons very well. I was really amazed that this tiny brush, that you can barely sense is in your pocket, did indeed work..
The key benefits are these…
• Pocket club brush for keeping clubs clean
• Stiff, non-wire bristles
• Creates clean contact for better distance and spin
• Pocket-sized convenience for quick access
I bought the World of Golf pocket brushes on Amazon and don’t see them today. There are several other very similar products on Amazon including the ProActivedBrush Pocket Club Brush( $11.47) and what looks identical the Tommy Armour Golf Club Pocket Brushes (2.49).
