I’ve never played with used golf balls, as I’ve always thought used golf balls were low quality, damaged, water logged, and just not good. Well, I have been testing used golf balls from a company and I think my opinion has changed.
The company is Clean Green Golf Balls, and their process seems to be a much better way to try and purchase used golf balls. From their first step cleaning the golf balls with a top secret mixture to get the golf balls really clean. Then, there are 4 grades from Mint to Shag so you know exactly what you are getting, to free shipping on orders over $59.
So, where do all these used golf balls come from, was my first question. Clean Green Golf Balls retrieves their golf balls from golf courses across the United States. They come from all parts of the golf course, so every ball has not been in the water, some are from the woods, tall grassy areas, and other areas on the golf course.
I guess the bottom line is how do the Clean Green Golf Balls play on the golf course. I tried their Recycled Pro Line Mix, which had various brand name golf balls. The golf balls all looked brand new to me, they were super clean and looked unplayed. The other used golf balls I played from Clean Green Golf Balls was their Pro V1 Mix which were in mint condition. They also offer these in near mint and good condition. Several of the golf balls had logos on them, however, besides that these golf balls looked brand new.
The real test is playing them on the golf course. I played several rounds with the used Pro V1’s and several rounds with the Pro Line Mix golf balls. I can honestly say I could not tell the difference between the used Clean Green Golf balls and new golf balls. I even hit numerous shots from the tee and putting with a new golf ball and one of the used golf balls which almost identical results.
To be fair, I did not try their lower quality golf balls which are of course less expensive and for beginners may be a good choice. The mint, super clean golf balls I played with were excellent. They look brand new and in my opinion are a great option to save a considerable amount of money as opposed to new golf balls. The Mint quality golf balls cost over 50% less than brand new golf balls, and if you get slightly lower grade used golf balls, the savings are huge.
In my opinion, I think it’s definitely worth trying the Clean Green Golf Balls and see for yourself. With prices of everything so expensive, you can save a ton of money with the Clean Green Golf Balls, and most likely you won’t be able to notice any difference.
The company website is, https://cleangreengolfballs.com/ and I suggest checking out their large selection of brand name used golf balls and start enjoying huge savings. Clean Green Golf Balls also offers customization on many name brand golf balls they sell.
