I tend to sway a bit off the golf ball when I’m not playing my best. I’ve also noticed quite a few other people I golf with moving their heads way more than you should, causing poor contact with the golf ball. All of this leads to golf shots that are less than ideal.
After a lot of research, I found a portable and excellent training aid that can help with keeping your head still over the golf ball. So if you want to hit the golf ball straighter, and more consistent this could be a great help.
The product is from Eclipse Golf and it is a great training aid and very easy to use. The company also has a how-to video on their website which shows you how to set it up and how to use the Eclipse training aid properly. It works with any club from Driver to Wedge.
I watched the one-minute videos on how to use the Eclipse training and then went right to the driving range to put it to work. It literally took less than 30 seconds to set it up and start using it. As you swing you can easily see if you can see any of the white part of the disc, and if you do you know you are moving your head. It’s actually fun trying to not see the white disc while swinging a club, but it does take practice to keep your head still.
After 15 minutes and 30+ swings I was noticing that my head went from moving more than I wanted to remaining still. My golf balls were now being struck much more consistent, which is exactly what the Eclipse Golf training aid is intended to accomplish. I really like the Eclipse and keep it in my bag for when I go to the driving range before playing a round of golf. It’s portable, fun to use and works.
The company website is www.eclipse.golf and the training aid only costs 49.99.
