I seem to go through golf gloves at a much higher pace than I recall from the past. It could be to playing more rounds, or maybe playing in hot and humid conditions, honestly I don’t know, but I would like my golf gloves to last longer if possible. And now they can with a very cool product I found.
The product is from Sundance Glove Saver. The Sundance Glove Saver is a plastic pouch that you put your golf glove in after you are done wearing it. Basically, you are sealing your golf glove in a pouch, so it does not come in contact with fluctuations with air and moisture. It seems like a smart and simple concept, so I had to try it.
The Sundance Glove Saver can fit one glove snugly into the pouch. I tried this with my first golf glove and put in after every round for 3 weeks. Then I tried with another golf glove brand and did the same thing for another 3 weeks. I think this was a fair test as each glove went through about 12 rounds of golf. My only suggestion would be to make the pouch a bit larger so it accommodates the golf glove a bit more, so the golf glove lays completely flat.
The results on each glove were similar, the gloves felt like new and were not as hard and crusty just throwing them into my golf bag. Again, such a simple concept but a concept that works and I will be using with my golf gloves after every round of golf.
The company website is www.sundanceglovesaver.com and the cost for a pouch is $12.00.
