I’ll be blunt – the putter cover that comes free with the putter that you purchase is pretty darn basic and nothing to write home about. I know Scotty Cameron and Odyssey do sell some custom putter covers, which are unique and of better quality than what’s included free with your putter, but there simply has to be better options for the golfer who wants to make a “statement”.
A company called KickInCovers manufactures very unique and detailed putter covers that can be found on Etsy. I was impressed that KickinCovers offers a putter cover that looks like a Michael Jordan basketball shoe. , Yes, you read that correctly, a putter cover that looks just like what Michael Jordan would wear to play basketball. The KickinCover putter cover comes in several color options (pictured below), and is without question a very unique and cool accessory. I can assure you that every time I display this putter cover, people are sure to ask, “where did you get that amazing cover”. . The only issue is that it only fits a blade putter and will not work with a mallet type putter.
KickinCovers also sells a Converse-style putter cover model and a Lebron-style putter cover. All of the putter covers are handmade and offer superior putter protection. They include an inner lining with additional support for your putter’s neck. These putter covers scream, “I love basketball and I have the most unique putter cover ever made.”
