As technology gets better and better, luckily for golfers it really can help improve our golf equipment. As we see new products coming out using all kinds of tech, A.I., and advanced materials I love learning about how they will help improve my game. Newton Golf has come out with a new advanced line of Putters called their Gravity Putter Line, and I can assure you they are new and unique.
Newton Golf’s new lineup includes three new models: The Classic, the DEUCE, and the DUKE. Additionally, the DRAC and the PRISM are two models from the previous Sacks Parente brand that have been redesigned and have the new Gravity logo and colorways.
The new advanced performance features include, Ultra Low Balance Point and optimized Center of Gravity. This ensures that golfers experience improved tempo by placing the weight of the putter predominantly in the head, with very light grips and carbon fiber shafts. The center of gravity is designed to be as low and close to the ball as possible. This promotes a smooth, repeatable tempo, minimizes side spin, and ensures the ball stays on the intended line for a truer, consistent roll. Also, each Gravity Premium Series putter is engineered for maximum Moment of Inertia (MOI). This increases the stability of the face, effectively widening the sweet spot to ensure off-center strikes are met with forgiveness and consistency.
I have been using the Newton Gravity The Deuce Putter for about 4 weeks and it has been quite an update to what I have been using. The putter has a great feel to it, including a putting stroke that flows easily back and forth. I immediately felt a smooth back and forth pendulum stroke. The putter is slightly heavier than other models which creates in my opinion a putter that stays closer to the ground and more on line with every stroke.
Overall, the Newton Golf Gravity line of putters is incredible. They are packed with so much tech and advanced features to make your putting stroke so much smoother and on plane, it’s just a great feel. The putter really installs confidence in your putting and as mentioned with a slightly heavier putter it has a great feel in your hands. With multiple head shapes, there is definitely a Newton Golf Gravity Putter for everyone.
